Mickie (Alexis) Laree James' Journal
I was going to do a Mikipedia entry for this, but I think that one might be able to wait. There's been so much happen, not much that I'll bother talking about, but you know.. your lives can feel fuller knowing that the life of Mickie James has been a busy one!
Yes, yes, Beth and I have moved in next door to Punk so we can all have wild monkey threesomes or whatever the hell you people all think we do. Don't let the truth get in the way of your dreams and fantasies, whatever you do! Truth be told, I've barely seen Punk.. OR Beth lately. Between Nashville and appearances having me home about one day a month, it's been a full on life. One day I'll stop and fall in a heap, but for the moment the busy life is what keeps me going. Those in my life understand, they know the career I've chosen and they're still there when I do get some time to give to them.
You know, when I'm not off to the Bahamas. It's a tough life.
Maybe I should've done a Mikipedia for this update, I feel like it's better than what this is going to offer. Not that many people read, and even more people don't care. Hi to my loyal and beloved readers who have been with me for as long as I've been keeping a journal, I think there's like.. two of you that have had one longer over the span of time. I think there's a few of you that were still in grade school when I first picked up my journal too. A-ha, yes, I'm getting old. None of you better forget my birthday, it's in a few days! I'll be thirty something. I can't remember anymore, I can count on my fingers because I'm awesome like that how long since the year I was born, but if someone asks me flat out, I blink at the blankly. I'm over 30 and not yet 40, you guys can work it from there. I still think I look pretty decent for that age, I still move pretty well in the ring, so I'm doing okay for myself.
OH, and my new album is coming together wonderfully. My fans are awesome, 100%. I've always had crazy fans, ones that threaten to blow up the Towers when I got fired and ones that are stalkers, but the ones just below that are super dedicated to me and support me in everything I do from being in the ring to being behind the microphone. I can't wait to get my new songs out to the public. I've had more to do with the writing of this one and I'm kinda proud of how the songs have come out so far. The voice is holding up, and bring on some more concerts.
Sometimes though, you just need a little time out. Whether that's giving yourself some company you haven't had in a while, or just plain spoiling yourself. I'm good at both. Smooches, journal friends. I shall see you again soon.
